Barrett's Swim Lessons

With summer right around the corner, Roger and I enrolled Barrett in swim lessons at a local swim center. The center requires the children to complete a two-week "boot camp," where Barrett did a 30 minute group lesson every day. He recently finished the camp and has moved on to his maintenance classes 2 times a week. The first 2 days of the camp were a little rough, mostly due to the fact that Mommy couldn't go into the pool area with him. He loved his teacher and looked forward to going just about every day. At the end of the two weeks, he received a little certificate and ribbon! He was so proud and couldn't wait to get home to show everything to Daddy.

It is absolutely incredible how much he learned in that short time! He blows bubbles, puts his head under the water, kicks his legs, floats, turns over, and can climb out of the pool on his own! Way to go Barrett! We will have lots of fun practicing his new skills at the pools this summer!
