Labor Day Weekend

Once again we had a busy but very fun weekend! Roger had to work Saturday morning, but we were able to go to Barrett's friend Olivia's second birthday party in the afternoon. Amazingly, Roger ended up having Sunday completely off! Hooray! His first day off in 4 weeks. We just spent some family time together and stayed at home for the day.

The most fun thing about the weekend was that our friend Kristin came to visit from Boston. We hadn't seen her in so long, and we couldn't wait to catch up. Saturday night we headed up to see Kristin at Erin and Adam's house. Barrett and Hunter had lots of fun soaking up all the attention!

For Labor Day, Roger was able to come home around noon. Erin, Adam, and Kristin came over and we grilled burgers and played. The big boys had a lot of fun playing on our bed. Barrett loves to be tackled by Daddy and Uncle Adam.

Hunter also started eating baby oatmeal. He likes it a lot! He kept grabbing for the spoon and my hands...apparently I wasn't feeding him fast enough. Aunt Erin got to hold him while Mommy worked the spoon.

After the oatmeal, Hunter was partied out. I guess Uncle Adam makes a good pillow.

Not only was Barrett a fan of Kristin, but he was also a fan of her iphone. His favorite app was Spin Art. It kept him busy for probably a good 30-45 minutes. He also liked another one where you blow into it and it plays music back to you. Thanks Kristin! I hope you don't find bits of fajita in your phone from Barrett blowing into it during dinner. :)
